Birgit Salling Hansen recently relocated to Denmark after studying, living and working in Belfast, Northern Ireland for ten years. Her performances contextualise her own pieces of text work, often as vocalisation carried by movement and pace, carried by condensed (abstract, banal etc) thoughts on space, time,
self etc- in short realigning concrete with vocal response. The creative possibilities, circumstances and limitations at hand conjure up intermission type of situations perhaps but with an at the time carefully chosen, intuitively written, selection of texts and object(ive)s.
